This project was to design a poster and social media posts for an event. I chose a neurology conference because I am interested in becoming a medical illustrator. I chose the blue and red colors because they contrast well and are colors used in the health field. One of the challenges I came across was choosing the right font and placement for the title of the conference. The most rewarding part was putting the design together after I had designed the illustrated elements. For the social media, I kept the information minimal, saving it for the caption underneath and the corresponding poster. Each post has a different design element from the poster but all three have the same blue color in the background.
