Here I created a light source for my desired objects that I was to focus on in order to create depth in later tasks

I started by adding a base colour to create the shadows. I then identified the mid-tones where I added an orange colour in order to create depth. Lastly, I highlighted the brightest light source with a yellow colour.

Here I played with texture using a photo of a salt lamp. The lamp itself had it's own highlights and lowlights that added to the depth of the shapes drawn
