For this project, I created a modular typeface using two shapes; a square and a quarter circle. The assignment was to use the typeface we create to make a word that would describe our client, an architectural firm called SHoP. I chose the word “evocative” to describe the way their designs evoke both nature and novelty. I created three versions, one using images from the SHoP website, and two using color palettes that I felt reflected the colors in and around their architectural designs. I created this typeface using Adobe Illustrator.
