You will create a one color hand crafted, custom lettered t-shirt design using either Photoshop, Illustrator or Adobe CC Mobile apps on the iPad. You will be introduced to what makes a good t-shirt design. You will evaluate several typographic solutions, learn the steps to creating a t-shirt design as well as being responsible for creating a unique, well thought out type design of your own. Once the designs are complete, we will be going on a field trip to Ink Lounge. This one day workshop covers the basics of screenprinting on T-Shirts. You will cover art, film prep, screens, mesh, emulsion, squeegees, inks, exposure, registration - pretty much everything you need to know to get up and printing. 

I really enjoy a rapper named Mach-Hommy so I found a photo of him and created my design over it. Choosing to use 3 colors red, black, and gray. I draw my design on fresco.

I then printed my design in all back on to a transparency and created my screen and exposed it to light with my design. 

After I printed all 3 screens with different colors to make t-shirts. 

I ended up also doing a digable planets shirt as well.
