Approach:
With help from my classmates, I decided to use "cool ghoul" for my pair of rhyming words. I wanted my "cool ghoul" to reflect the stereotypical early 2010s definition of "cool". So, he has a skateboard, shades, sly smirk, a backwards snapback cap drawn in a schoolbook doodle style with my personal favorite, finger guns.
My process to achieve this, while short, was very thought out. My first attempt had shades and a tough look, however this didn't communicate "cool and relaxed" so I gave him a smirk/finger guns and fixed up his shape to have more of an organic look. While I loved how he was turning out, I still wanted to take it a step further. After many considerations he finally ended up with his 2010s style skateboard and snapback cap.
