The former Van Marcke site in Courtray is getting a new life! It will be transformed into a sustainable living and working project for young and old. But before that happens, the site will temporarily be used as LandMarck. Here, local residents, starting entrepreneurs and young talent are given the opportunity to give their best in the most creative way possible. It is a project for and by the Courtray residents, with the support of the city and the creative touch of d-artagnan.
What's in a name?
LandMarck is a reference to the former home of Van Marcke, the Belgian market leader in the distribution of sanitary and heating equipment. With LandMarck, ‘milestone’ in the literal sense, we are helping to put Courtray on the map as an innovative and enterprising city. The baseline “you shape the city” invites everyone to roll up their sleeves and get creative. There are a lot of free spaces on the site that are waiting for an original interpretation. We honor the rich past of the site, provide a vibrant interpretation of the present and eagerly look forward to the future and the construction of the new city district. That is why we are working with dynamic and timeless branding that perfectly reflects this evolution and flexibility. Both the colors and the baseline will evolve with time and the progress of the project.
