MIES VAN DER ROHE FOUNDATION GRAPHIC IMAGE
GRAPHIC DESIGN AND BRANDING
Grade: 3rd year
The graphic image of the foundation is based on its main protagonist: Mies Van Der Rohe, a German architect who was born in 1886 and died in 1969, recognized as one of the pioneers of modern architecture.
The values from which I have worked that defined the architect have been elegance, rationality, the concept of less is more, structuralism and functionality, obtaining as a result a frivolous image that reduces to the essence by distancing itself from anything purely superfluous or ornamental.

The selected colour palette is inspired by natural and simple tones. The photographic style is based on images of natural materials and elements. The visual system has been created from the reduction of the name "Mies" to simple geometric shapes.
