I wanted to do a fun kids brand that reminded me of the brands I grew up with. Fisher Price and LeapFrog were two brands I enjoyed as a kid and I wanted to make a fun learning toy brand of my own.

For my logo I has a few name ideas. I wanted it to be cute, but and goofy like something a kid would come up with. At first I wanted the words to rhyme, but then while brainstorming different words for toys I thought about knick-knacks. That's how the brand BrainKnack came to be!
In branding BrainKnacks, I wanted to play of the shape of a brain with a cartoony cloud like shape. I first added this shape to my website, then decided it would be a perfect addtion to my busniess card.
One of my struggles I faced was finding a way to represent my brand. I wasn't doing a subcription box or a restruant so ideas for collateral. Having my logo on a toy was the perfect thing I could ask for. I am new to packaging, but I feel like having a simple way to represent my brand was perfect.
For the website I wanted to keep it fun and playful. I added a creative twist on the the top menu bar adding pop-up tabs when you click on the next pages. All the colors on the website are from the logo. The website is fully functional and you can have fun exploring it in the Adobe XD link below.
