Fahrenheit 451 Book Redesign (P.2)
Objective:
Refresh the Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 book design with a new take compared to the previous version and existing redesigns.
Direction:
The typical redesigns for Bradbury's novel ends to lean towards fire, book burning, and fire fighters, or something of that sort. I decided to focus on the bigger picture–censorship associated with technological advancement. I put emphasis on technology, computer science, and hidden messages.
Solution:
My solution utilizes fuchsia, cyan, and deep blue (commonly associated with computer dark modes), blurred type, binary code, and quick sketches I created myself within illustrator that showcase common themes within the novel (fire, matches, ideas, tech, drugs, books, knowledge, and censorship).
