In order to learn and find strengths for the app, we researched competitors who are 3 high-downloaded apps on CH play with 3 different strengths.
User Research!
Before going to research using user-interactive methods, with the advantage of being directly involved in the rap industry and being in the rap community for about 2 years, here's what we observed from habit get used to making rap music of rappers in the community
They all had a need to make their own rap music and faced problems with how to approach and use existing production tools. Another need of them is to share as well as learn from the community with similar interests.
Interviewees had difficulty finding a tool to save ideas for their rap. They have difficulty getting used to and using existing music making software. They often come up with ideas and compose inspired music. They want to freely choose their beat without being constrained by quantity or price.
Based on survey results, interviews and information obtained, we created Affinity Mapping with main items including:
