Plastic pollution

“ It is up to us to make a change, we can start a little, at least we just make an effort.Let us make a better world tomorrow with less plastic waste”.
According to statistics, it’s only about 9 % of the plastic waste that gets recycled, therefore it means the other 91 % ends up as waste in our oceans, soil, and the atmosphere. And one thing about plastics is that it doesn’t break down rather it turns into smaller micro-plastics. These microplastics take up to 450 years or higher than that to decompose.
One way that we create much plastic waste is the use of single-use plastics. Single-use plastics are those plastics used only once and thrown away or recycled. Examples include food packages grocery bags, straw, plastic cutlery, bottles and so much more. So, we should withhold from using plastics that can’t be reused or recycled .
