Bones and Buttercups
Microscopy and Art
At the University of Westminster I joined a student research group to experiment with working interdisciplinary. The following paintings were made for the exhibition which resulted. I used the bone's osteocyte cells and link them to the skull silhouette. The same was done with the buttercup cells in relation to the buttercup shape. The reason I chose these two things was that each has a very symbolic or iconic shape that contrast with each other.
