The artist book is an appropriation, an assumed copy of ANTE MERIDIEM, an artistic project which gathers individual and multiple responses regarding the beginning of the day. Twelve photographers present their own version of the morning in images taken in places all around the world. The artists not only show an interpretation, but also propose

a way of navigating in this ”periodic period”. The project addresses the projection of the personal identity, through these individual ap- proaches to the ANTE MERIDIEM moment. The photographs set up a game between the public and the private space, questioning, in these param- eters, the role of the morning rituals. ANTE MERIDIEM is a meditation on temporality.
