Plein Air. Our trip to Tilsit.August-September 2013

On the first day my friend and I went to the square. We drew an art school and an old tram. It was raining, so we were not able to draw long.
I painted in watercolor and pastel
Then we went to the bridge of Queen Louise. On the other side - Lithuania. This bridge connects the two sides. We drew there for an hour or two.
We went home, put our heavy stuff, chairs, all unnecessary. And we went to draw all that will have time before dark. And it was getting dark, it was about 7pm. We stayed an hour. I offered to have an alarm clock, pinpoint 15 minutes, and as soon as rings, go to draw on. Took only the required materials. It was training, I think, very useful.
Only 15 minutes. Only main things, shape, lines.
When I painted this house was almost dark, so I decided to add a starry sky to show night.
On the second day  in the morning we painted a house and then went away from the city and drew another house and nature.
For me it was a great experience. Try to draw in the city, in the streets and on the nature. Because there is a direct communication with the atmosphere and the artist's environment.  =)
