I first took different pictures of my subject in varying positions, a few of the pictures just being of her hands to get different positions.

I isolated the arms via the magnetic lasso tool and positioned them around my subject. I then made the picture look a bit darker and then used a white brush with a lot of feather and low opacity in order to create the effect that she was glowing. I then used a light brush to make fake chains to connect all of the hands together.
