Character Concept: Zombie Kelpie
Application Used: Adobe Photoshop
Based on the idea of a Kelpie, a malevolent spirit that takes form of a horse. Often lures its prey to sit on its hide and once someone does the hide turns into a sticky tar-like substance that you can't get out of. Once stuck the Kelpie takes you underwater and drowns you, devouring your soul.
4 mood boards as well as sketches were made for the character, each with a different theme.
Idea 2, the zombie horse was chosen and further developed.
Expressions, dynamic poses as well as a shaded version of the Zombie Kelpie was done. A mood board was done for the expressions.
