“The Great Gatsby” Adapted by Miles Lewandowski

 

This is a case where the poster takes direct inspiration from the movie poster, personally I wanted to do something different but at the end of the day it was the directors choice. I designed it to give it a lot more empty space and pretty symmetrical overall. This was to not make it seem too full and more organized, the silver/white were also chosen to let the text stand out. The eyes on the top were my personal choice as I think the eyes hold a lot in symbolizing what the original book is about. You’ll also notice the Jay Gatsby logo on the top to add even more detail to the poster.
