Exploration of Media:

Furthering one's artwork is a way that artists have constantly challenged themselves through history. This piece was no different, as I was able to complete this work via Photoshop and explore further with Adobe InDesign. While I've been familiar with photoshop, InDesign was a new program to which I was completely unaware of. Structuring the proper wording and detail to the credits was a new process to which I was unaware when faced with this difficulty. This piece best depicts my exploration of media because while I used a media I was familiar with, it gave me an opportunity to venture further because of the initial knowledge with Photoshop. The piece itself is a parody to the original 'Die Hard' movie poster. I learned how to use InDesign via YouTube tutorials, Adobe's website, along with simple articles that helped with shortcuts.

This piece achieves the goals of exploration of media by highlighting the aspects to what was used before it. The furthering of my art was successful in this piece as it highlights the use of a new media.
