Art Direction is an app I prototyped for my Advanced Computers for Design class. We had a choice between a few prompts and I eventually picked an accessible navigation app. Living in Philadelphia and having frequented the Barnes Foundation several times, I thought it would be great to visit and use actual clips taken from inside the museum for the camera AR portion. Through visiting the museum, I could also find out more about where important points of interest are located and get a better understanding of how accessible these places are. Using an already existing brand was also an interesting concept because I could think of ways to keep the original image of the brand (this bright orange color and use of works inside the Barnes) while also applying my own look to it.
