Personal Identity System

If I had to describe myself in one sentence, I would tell you that I am like a
crazy quilt. To know me takes time. I see myself as multifaceted, multilayered
and multicultural. My whole is more than my divergent parts.

My Identity consists of many pieces.
In most of them I incorporate my love of letterforms and their abstractions.
I am bilingual and have dual citizenship. My symbol is a combination of both my
English and Hebrew initials. It is primitive looking and reflects my Lishán Didán
(Nash Didan) heritage. My patterns, like me, are a multifaceted crazy quilt.

The typeface used is Fedra Sans to reflect my free spirit and quirkiness.
It’s R is unique. It has a long leg, bends outward and has an angled terminal.
It seemed fitting to have these pieces letterpressed. I love the process
which requires a high degree of craftsmanship. It also accentuates fine
typography and creates a beautiful texture. The poncho folded resume
is a 13” square printed on 80# Mohawk Via text in natural and the business
cards are 2.6” squares printed on 220# Crane Lettra cover in ecru.
