I created this book as part of a competition brief for paper manufacturer Fedrigoni, where I was asked to showcase the selection of papers they have on offer for printers.
I went for the theme of identity, using a fingerprint as a metaphor for feeling their bespoke paper stocks.
A simple format was created inorder to point out the key aspects of each paper type, brand, paper, weight, and colours. Allowing for greater ease and navigation throughout the fingerprint book, with each of the F's symboling a paper type and matching up to their corresponding pages, almost cataloguing the papers I used.
Using the medium of screenprint, I was able to transfer the simplicty of my design across onto the broad paper stocks and not take anything away from the texture of paper. With the main aim being to get people involved with feeling the weight and quality of paper before going ahead and using it.
