Bioplastic with Food Waste
This project setting is the year 2050.The City of San Francisco has reached its capacity within the waste management system and can no longer handle food waste from your home or the food industry. Because the city now prohibits the disposal of any organic matter or food, we must find other ways to make use of these materials. We will be inventing new bio based materials while creating actionable solutions that work toward a waste-free future.
My food waste is used tea bags. I was trying to engaged at experimenting with my materials and expand its usable concept in the future.

This time I used tea leaves as my materials to trying instead of tea particles in the tea bag.

This is my bioplastic final application. I used waterslide decal paper to transfer the element of graphics on the bioplastic's surface. And I also got the bioplastic effects that is what I want to archive by constantly adjusting the ingredients and dosage. In the end, I mockup the final effects about my assumption with my tea bioplastic.
