Agency is a 12' x 12' painting that explores the link between human inconsequentiality and agency. Are we just accidents of evolution and new additions to a long line of cosmic coincidence? How much control do we really have in our personal lives? Do our individual narratives matter on an objective, grand level?

The "canvas" is made by laminating used cardboard boxes and newspapers.

Primer and paint is then applied on the "canvas". The next step ,which creates the lines, involves a technique called pendulum painting. This youtube video illustrates the process.
