100 years of Slough Trading Estate. A limited edition set of books that celebrate a century of the industrious.

Slough Trading Estate was founded in 1920 and has established itself as home to some of the UK’s most innovative and beloved businesses for 100 years.

We created a limited edition set of three books to document the past and the present of the Estate; Then, Now and a hardback novel of historical Stories. We painstakingly combed through 100 years of archived imagery, selecting the most visually and historically interesting photographs for the 120-page Then book. To express life on the estate as it is now, we commissioned two photographers to capture the environment, the people and diverse businesses at various times of the year, tasking them to deliver these images in a creative way. Bringing these two contrasting books together, we worked with the Estate historian to create a novel of short stories, based on compelling true events, revealing the untold human stories from the past century.
