Construction safety mesh on the restored facade becomes old wallpaper, on which the stories of housemates were recorded in different forms. An unusual context of the intersection of street and home arises: it was customary to mark the growth of children at different ages on the walls; before repairs, wallpapers were allowed to be painted; during repairs, a layer of old newspapers was often found under them, leading into the history of their time.

Строительная сетка на реставрируемом фасаде становится старыми обоями, на которых в тех или иных формах фиксировались истории жильцов этого дома. Возникает удивительный контекст пересечения уличного и домашнего: на стенах было принято отмечать рост детей в разном возрасте, перед ремонтом обои разрешали разрисовывать, при переклейке под ними часто обнаруживался слой старых газет, уводящих в историю своего времени.

The Wallpaper Installation was made as part of the Subcultural Landscape Project, which took place in 3 stages in St. Petersburg from October 2022 to September 2023:
October 15-21, 2021
— Subcultural Landscape - an exhibition-laboratory with the presentation of sketches of projects;
December 15-26, 2021
— Subcultural Landscape vol.2 - an exhibition with the presentation of works made in the material and ready to be placed in the city;
June 15 — October 15, 2022
— Summer Route is the final part of the Subcultural Landscape Project, within which the works of artists students of the Stieglitz Academy are placed in the historical center of St. Petersburg.

Инсталляция «Обои» была выполнена в рамках проекта «Субкультурный ландшафт», проходившего в 3 этапа в Санкт-Петербурге с октября 2022 по сентябрь 2023 года:
15-21 октября 2021
— «Субкультурный ландшафт» — выставка-лаборатория с представлением эскизов проектов;
15-26 декабря 2021
— «Субкультурный ландшафт vol.2» — выставка с представлением работ, выполненных в материале и готовых к размещению в городе;
15 июня — 15 октября 2022
— «Летний маршрут» — заключительная часть проекта «Субкультурный ландшафт», в рамках которого работы художников – студентов Академии Штиглица размещены в историческом центре Санкт-Петербурга.
For the second exhibition, a sample mesh was prepared with a pattern and embroidery applied to it. / Для второй выставки был подготовлен пробник сетки с нанесёнными на неё рисунком и вышивкой.
Sketches-visualizations of the project in the city were presented at the first exhibition. / Эскизы-визуализации проекта в городе были представлены на первой выставке.
Subcultural Landscape is a joint project of the 3rd Curatorial Forum, the Foundation for Support of Innovations and Youth Initiatives of St. Petersburg, the Stieglitz Academy and the Friends of Petersburg social project of PJSC Gazprom. The project is being implemented in several stages: selection of participants based on an open portfolio competition, master classes and workshops for participants, development of sketches, exhibition, work on sketches in the material, coordination of work with city committees and placement of objects in the urban environment.

«Субкультурный ландшафт» — совместный проект 3-го Кураторского форума, Фонда поддержки инноваций и молодежных инициатив Санкт-Петербурга, СПГХПА им. А. Л. Штиглица и социального проекта ПАО «Газпром» «Друзья Петербурга». Проект реализуется в несколько этапов: отбор участников на основе открытого конкурса портфолио, мастер-классы и практикумы для участников, разработка эскизов, выставка, работа над эскизами в материале, согласование работ с городскими комитетами и размещение объектов в городской среде.
