College Project: DECAY

I discovered one of my favourite ever artists in this project: Alvaro Tapia Hidalgo. I love his use of colours and line, I took photographs of buildings in York to compliment his style in my own work.

Leaf skeleton experiments- quite possibly my favourite work done during my course so far. I printed over and over again with the 'skeletons' of leaves in my garden, each with different ink/ on a different material. My favourite outcome is the white ink on black paper because it has an anatomical appearance.

Experimenting in Ian Murphy's style, I really enjoyed using photography from York and this project has inspired me to explore other cities in the UK.
