I was tasked to design a sketchbook cover to be produced using the vacuum forming method. 

I built my butterfly design on Solidworks and split it into two due to 3D printer requirements.

The butterfly was 3D printed and I glued it together using epoxy and sanded any imperfections.

The 3D printed butterfly was then placed under a sheet of plastic and put into a vacuum forming machine to be used as a mold.
