RAT
Custom Ergonomic Computer Mouse
RAT is a custom-designed ergonomic mouse molded specifically for my hand. It was designed using handprint analysis from a variety of common computer mice. A clay model was made to flesh out the initial proportions before the design was finalized in Fusion 360. This design was then fabricated in 3D-printed resin using an Elegoo Mars printer.
The design of the RAT was inspired by real-life rats, who tend to have much larger tails than mice. As a result, the RAT has an elongated body that gradually curves down to a central point. Finished in a HackBerry pink and silver two-tone.
