It is important to emphasize the differences of spatial experiences amongst the two sides of the story. The first one being the city of Novi Sad and its XX century Boulevard of Mihajlo Pupin, housing the city’s modern icons. The second side of the story is the town of
Petrovaradin, with all of its rich history and heritage. The colorful facades and the arches that are distinctive for 18th century buildings were the key site elements that helped draw the concept out. Using the concepts of the contrast between the new and the old, between the private and the public is the main idea in the design.
