Temporary Architecture | Pavillion

A temporary pavilion for the "Pinocchio" Fairy Tale.
Transformation and mobility are key-words to read this architectural exercise. As the main fairytale's character, Pinocchio, undertakes an awkward and tricky trip, both in reality and in a more metaphoric sense, the user will experience something similar. The maze concept is simplified and defined through the movement and transformation made by the user; and by the action of passing through it. Indeed, the pavilion is made by a fixed and a movable structure. The fixed structure is representented by woodstrips panels set in a concentric way to give an order/structure to the pavilion. While, movable panels and seats, again set in a concentric sense, let the user change the architecture and find their own way through it. As in a maze, the structure is changed by users. Meanwhile, each of them is trying to find their way through the architecture, constantly changed by other users. Therefore, the reader is not only passively observer but become an active actor.
