These pieces grew from a curiosity of glass's skin-like qualities, furthered by an interest in the foreign familiar. Akin to the accumulation of skin shedding and dirt that gets trapped under our nails and bellybuttons, each encases a familiar remnant of the outside world. However, the accumulation and placement of these objects, obscured by the veils of glass, transforms the remnants into unrecognizable forms, almost indistinguishable from the undulating encasement itself.
