Using recycled aluminum printing sheets, each studio of 12 people had to design "the smallest room." With these parameters our studio developed a pyramid-like module that was connected using wire to create a large chain mail surface which we suspended using fishing line to create a personal rest area one can either sit in or lay beneath. The malleability of the structure allows it to respond to the body. The modules are also manipulated as they ascend, compressing more as they reach the top creating wider openings to allow light in, making the space beneath the highest point more public and the lowest peak darker and more private.
