Risography is a stencil printing method, where the art is engraved on a natural fiber plate (master), which in turn is rolled into a drum responsible for releasing soy oil-based ink, printing the art on paper. Riso printing ended up being adopted by artists and illustrators, since they find interesting colors and textures in this technique, through an accessible, practical, fast and ecologically sustainable process.
