Textile Design Portfolio

Various images from textile design projects that I have completed for various classes, projects and competitions during my time at Parsons New School for Design. Some projects were developed completely on the computer using CAD programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and U4ia. Others were developed from my own fine art paintings, collages, and drawings and then taken and repeated on the computer.
Below is a floral engineered print group I created from my own acrylic paintings. This project was  a proposal for a recent competition I entered.
Below are paisly drawings I did in my sketchbook with marker and then transformed the drawings into an engineered print in Photoshop for a Janis Joplin inspired collection I was working on.
Below are prints that I developed from drawings, paintings and collages for a Collection i designed based off the practices of the Dada Movement. All artwork was created using traditional DaDa techniques.
Below is a textile group I created for my Junior year Textile Digital Studio class. The collection was inspired by the art of Georgia O'keeffe. It was designed using a combination of hand drawings, digital photo collage and manipulation in Photoshop , and repeating and recoloring in U4ia. The class was mainly a U4ia based course so majority of this project was done in U4ia.
Below is a print I designed for my Digital Studio class Junior year. The initial graphics were from free hand Illustrator line drawings and it was repeated and recolored in U4ia.
