Usage of UX Design Principles

Key observations related to the design principles

Von Restorff Effect:

While going through Box website, I could see the Von Restorff Effect used so effectively. The Box.com pricing screenshot below uses this principle to draw the attention of the user toward the most popular offering (and likely the most profitable one for them).
Accessibility:

The Box.com website provides easy accessibility to their users. The user can easily navigate through the website because it looks familiar like other websites.
Law of Common Region:

While going through the leetcode website, I could easily detect the Law of Common Region. The website has grouped elements of same type into a specific boundary.
Hick’s Law:

The above screenshot of leetcode website also shows the effective use of Hick's Law. Too many choices might take the user a long time to choose. Leetcode simplifies these things out by using progressive onboarding to minimize cognitive load.

Law of Proximity:

The Leetcode website is a perfect example of Law of Proximity. Objects that are near or proximate are grouped together which helps users to easily navigate through the website.
Zeigarnik Effect:

The above screenshot of Leetcode website also shows the use of Zeigarnik Effect. The Zeigarnik effect states that incomplete or interrupted tasks are most likely to be remembered. Leetcode helps the users remember certain uncompleted tasks by adding a simple progress bar.
