Surreal Self Portrait
Creating this was a fun challenge for me. Creating myself in a surreal surrounding was limitless. I decided to photoshop my head into Medusa with a textured marble overlay. From there, I placed it at the bottom of the ocean surrounded by rocks and sea-life. In the background, you’ll find Atlantis and a few mermaids swimming upward. Everything was done primarily using the selection tools, filters and adjustments, and overlays! To make this, I used Adobe Photoshop.
Closer Look
The images I used were myself for my head. I then used the Medusa statue for slight texture and Medusa's hair base. I then added the cutout of Medusa's full hair over the base. I added the marbled overlay for some texture and adjusted the blend and lighting then combined the layers. I photoshopped the Atlantean castle and mermaids in the back with a blur effect over. The finishing touches were the two jellyfish swimming overhead!
