They are committed to sourcing exceptional specialty coffee and roasting in a calculated manner that highlights the inherent elements that make up the coffee’s unique flavor profile.

The Goal
Our goal in redesigning Weathered Hands website was to boost online sales, grow their newsletter subscriptions, & begin to form relationships with new potential clients.
The Challenge
We wanted their brand to feel genuine, tell a story, and have a digital experience that is easy & user friendly.
We achieved this by adding a blog with 26 idea's, topics, & keywords that could be covered to help organically grow user traffic as well as build brand loyalty with customers.
A majority of competitors highlights the coffee through packaging & product imagery. In order to build a relationship with customers & the farmers that produce the coffee, we decided to have minimal product photo's and more photos of farmers & coffee farms.

Updating website photos & creating video for a more engaging brand
Instead of using stock photography, I went out to the roastery to take photos of the roasting process, brewing a cup of coffee, and of certain products to help keep a consistent brand across the entire website. All of the photos that were taken are stored in a shared library with the client to also use for social media or any marketing material.
The Results
Without any paid traffic, the site maintained a healthy rate of growth over 2021 as we created content that targeted selected keywords.
One blog, Grind Size: Explained, was the 2nd highest ranking page making up 8.34% of all website traffic on a monthly basis. Due to pages / blog posts being created with targeted keywords, the overall traffic for the year rose +28% from last years traffic.
As organic traffic increased from our efforts in Search Engine Optimization & Weathered Hands doubled down on their in-person marketing, website sales grew +31% from last year.
