Note: Since I have an APS-C camera I have a crop factor of x1.6.
11mm [18mm FF] starting at 1/80 second
Here is where the rule seems to say I should go. 11mm@1/20 sec
Not as sharp as I like, but not terrible. I think the reciprocal rule works well for me.
This is where the blur starts to get really bad.
22mm [36mm FF] starting at 1/160 sec
I was surprised I was able to keep it somewhat sharp at 1/10th. I was most likely just more focused or holding my breath, so I will probably stick with the reciprocal rule.
Starts to get pretty blurry here...
I couldn't think of a way to do the bonus assignment, sorry. I am pretty much confined to my house, so I am pretty limited.
