Jacquard is a complex woven-in design, often with large design repeats or tapestry effects. The course was to design a surface by taking inspiration from traditional Indian motif, I wanted to take Kanjeevaram motif style as my inspiration. The deer, which is related in many traditions with kindness, softness and gentleness connected to god and sacred, which inspire those values and symbols in the imagination of humans and in its metaphorical nature.
