Originally introduced in the first Stars Wars movie, Tusken Raiders were particularly mysterious and dangerous characters. they were uniquely characterized by their clothes and masks which were developed to help survive the harsh Tatooine climate. The mouth grills are designed to prevent precious moisture from leaving their bodies, while the goggles likely serve to protect their vulnerable eyes from harsh sandstorms on Star Wars' iconic planet, Tatooine.
For this project, I partnered with Ash Holdsworth, the owner of the Jedha Workshop to replicate the same unique mask of the Raiders. I was responsible for designing and 3D modeling the base model and different parts of the mask while Ash was responsible for 3D printing, sanding, and preparing the final look of the mask.
