This outdoor exhibit was an in-park component of wider communications campaign. It bridges the serious tone of the conservation campaign with an experience that can engage families during a day at the zoo.
Vertical panels break the story up into digestible chapters. Each exhibit element is designed to adapt to different sites as needed, and can use a variety of existing or typical hardware and production methods.
The core of the experience: Every visitor can contribute one handmade elephant print to a growing herd. As the herd grows, additional modular sections are added to the exhibit. A visually-impactful living art piece grows with each person's contribution, and travels along the zoo's pathways.
