For my artwork this time, it is through the form of a printmaking technique called reduction linocut. My artwork also includes all the elements and principles of art, which are line, form, colour, texture, value, and so on. I want to tell about the special features of my village, which is "Nasi Kerabu". I chose "Nasi Kerabu" because it has been my favourite food since I was a kid. It represents or symbolises Kelantan. ”Nasi Kerabu” Kelantan (Herb Rice) is a visually appealing Malay rice dish served with a mixture of aromatic herbs and choice of protein. Perhaps the most striking feature of this dish is the blue rice coloured naturally with ”bunga telang” (blue/butterfly pea flower). Some people may find blue rice strange, but it is actually a very pleasing blue colour and is quite pretty. As the name suggests, this tasty dish originated in Kelantan. It consists of a variety of herbs, fresh vegetables, condiments, fish, and meats.
