Beginning in June 2013, The Guardian published information leaked by whistleblower Edward Snowden, about the PRISM surveillance program and other programs run by the American National Security Agency. This information graphic presents paragraphs from The Guardian articles that mention the NSA before 2013.

All articles are sorted into categories like "Whisteblowers",
"Relationship between NSA and GHCQ" or, as seen above, "Protest from other Nations".
In the categories, the articles appear chronological.

If names of locations appear in the articles, they are linked to the actual location:
The info graphic functions as a timeline and a map.

Around the center, additional information about the director of the NSA, the prime minister of the UK and the president of the US are given. To show the actual reason for the NSA, all the wars in which the US has been involved are shown. I also added a little history of the Guardian to give an uninformed reader some background information about this newspaper.
