SYNOPSIS
This project is a quick procedural form study of fungi gills. The forms are the result of a Houdini process that generates the rough shape of the fungi using ramps to control the profile, applies soft body dynamics to make the form look more natural, then uses a space colonization algorithm to generate gills on the underside / exterior. These are converted to surface VDBs and then converted back into a final mesh with vertex attributes for color.
