Posters encouraging women to speak up, take up space and make a move, being afraid never served anyone
The Leslie Feinberg Tribute Series
Client project where they wanted a poster for their idol 'Leslie Feinberg' a queer rights activist and author, that would not only be eye-catching but also capture the essence of the person and their legacy
A very relatable quote from the series 'Fleabag' which I turned into a poster on a particularly difficult day, feeling dissociated and desperate at the same time. All of which I tried to project here
"Typography used to be something I was endlessly afraid of in my 1st year of working as a designer.
That was till I started to look at type not as 'letters' but as images that could be played around with and is as much a part of a design's communication and aesthetic as an illustration, logo or an actual image."
These are a result of the above thought
Made for a competition held by The Monotype. I thought a poster about a typeface could only be as elemental as words itself. So, created 1 in the image of the work of Typography legend, Paula Scher, using nothing but words.
