This digital collage project highlights vintage images of my father and his travels around the world. Sadly, he passed recently and I wanted to honor his life and light. He loved gemstones and has a massive collection. I took images of them and arranged them in a collage format. The ornaments were taken from my families Armenian Bibles, that are centuries old. My father came from a family of priests and was extremely proud of it. I added abstract shapes, created in Illustrator to accent the collage and give it more of a modern twist. Each composition uses a color from the spectrum to complete the series.
