The Water Fight is a clean water initiative that I helped create in Decemeber of 2010. We emphasize sustainable development and community empowerment by training rural villagers in Kenya to dig their own wells utilizing resources already available to them. Sixty wells have been completed.
I spearheaded fundraising efforts using services like Causes.com and partnering with a microfundraising organization called Dollar for the Poor.
Threw together this campaign for World Water Day 2012 in about twelve hours. Raised a little over $6000.
A thank you video that I produced for Dollar for the Poor, a microfundraising organization that supported some of our projects. I shot the footage on a Canon EOS 600d with an adapted Nikkor 50mm lens and an 18-55mm kit lens.
