The shape of a wave
These watercolor paintings are from the series "Spirit of the Ocean". A series that I have been working on for the second year. It is about the power of the ocean, about its diversity and beauty. Waves, splashes, sea foam, reflections on the water - this is a huge theme. I'm ready to talk about it forever!
ON THE SHORE
On the shore, the dance of the waves is especially beautiful and unpredictable. The sea waves reflect the sunlight and rush onto the shore creating a fluffy foam, like snow. There is no difference between sea waves, ocean water or river waves. The water is extraordinary beautiful anyway!
UNDER THE MOONLIGHT
Waves under the moonlight: this is the mystique of light, this is the smoothness of movements and the depth of color. The waves have always inspired me, the beauty and the extraordinary ease with which the waves roll onto the shore is like meditation. Drawing the sea and ocean waves is a real meditation for me.
SUMMER OCEAN
Another picture from the "Spirit of the ocean" series. It depicts the ocean shore with waves running over it. A summer day turns the water green due to blooming algae. Thoughts about the ocean, its boundlessness, power and beauty make me create more and more.
