Making this piece I tried to relate to the meanings of the allegorical poem Luceafărul by Mihai Eminescu, which addresses the problem of the man of genius (also referred to as Hyperion in the poem) and incompatibility in love, by presenting two couples in parallel.
I also tried to take inspiration from the allegorical poem (or ballad, as it is also considered) Riga Crypto și lapona Enigel, written by Ion Barbu, in which the roles are reversed.
