An introduction to Jacquard was a two week course where we did a live project with Neptune House Furnishings Pvt. Ltd, Ahmedabad. A design brief was given and was guided throughout the process of jacquard weaving.
Design brief- Design a collection of contemporary jacquard woven furnishing fabrics inspired by a traditional Indian motif.
For my designs for jacquard loom, I have chosen tree motif based on Kanjeevaram style as my source of inspiration.
